Supply, Installation & Commissioning of a complete Wake Vortex Detection System at Dubai International Airport, for the measurement and recording of the In-Ground (ING) and Outer-Ground (ONG) effects of wake turbulence at approaches to Runways 12 and 30 at Dubai International airport. The wake vortex detection system is based on the pulsed Doppler Light Detection & Ranging (LIDAR) technology, and the collected wake vortex data is fed into an analysis project as part of several inputs, to construct a safety case and approval for dual stream approaches in
Dubai Airport, in order to improve airport capacity. The scope originally included 2 LIDARs, and a 3rd LIDAR was ordered additionally as per the analysis requirements.
